Colour Correction Specialists in Buckhead, Atlanta
Box dye gone wrong? Brassy, banded, or someone else’s mistake? Take a breath. David Barron’s team fixes colour, and has done since 1996.
When colour goes wrong, this is where it gets put right
Colour correction is the skilled work of fixing colour that has gone wrong: brassy or banded highlights, a box dye disaster, uneven grow-out, a shade nothing like the photo, or another salon’s mistake. It is careful, expert, one-section-at-a-time work.
First, breathe. Almost everything can be improved, and much can be fully fixed. We will look at your hair honestly, tell you what is realistic, and get you back to colour you love, as safely as your hair allows.
Consultation-first, always
Colour correction is consultation-first. Every case is different, so we plan before we promise.
We assess your hair’s history and condition, and tell you honestly what is possible and how.
We map the safest route to your goal, which may be one session or a few.
Corrective colour is done patiently to protect hair integrity while fixing the problem.
We send you home with a plan to keep your corrected colour healthy.
Before & after, real corrections
Correction is the hardest colour work, done calmly
Fixing colour safely, without frying already-stressed hair, takes serious expertise and judgement. David Barron was named Creative Hairdresser of the Year for North America and leads a team trained to that standard.
You may arrive stressed. You will not be judged. We do this work every week, calmly and kindly, in the heart of Buckhead.
Consultation-first, and priced honestly
Colour correction cannot be quoted by phone, because it depends entirely on what is on your hair now and where you want to get to. A stylist assesses in person and gives you a clear plan and quote.
A $50 consultation fee applies and is credited toward your service. Call 404-812-0032 or request an appointment and we will call you back quickly.
Keep your corrected colour healthy
Corrected hair has been through a lot. Gentle care protects the result and your hair.
- —Use the colour-safe, strengthening products we recommend for corrected hair.
- —Book any follow-up sessions in the plan so the correction finishes safely.
- —Rest heat styling where you can, and always use heat protectant.
- —Come back for glosses to keep tone fresh, rather than reaching for box dye.
Colour Correction FAQ
Can my colour be fixed in one session?
Sometimes, but not always. Safe correction can take more than one visit, especially for big changes or fragile hair. We will tell you honestly at your consultation.
Can you fix box dye?
Yes, this is one of the most common corrections we do. Box dye can be stubborn, so we assess it in person and plan the safest route.
Will correction damage my hair?
Our priority is protecting your hair while we fix the colour. We work at a pace your hair can handle and use strengthening care throughout.
How much does colour correction cost?
It depends entirely on your hair and goal and is quoted after an in-person consultation. A $50 consultation fee applies and is credited toward your service.
How long does it take?
Anywhere from a couple of hours to multiple sessions, depending on the correction. We give you a realistic plan up front.
My colour was done somewhere else. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Fixing other salons’ work is a large part of colour correction. Bring photos of the current hair and the result you want.
